Tenants who have received illness benefit as a result of Covid-19 or the Temporary Wage Subsidy or any other social welfare payment as a result of loss of earnings due to Covid-19 are protected for a further 90 days.
The earliest date these tenants can be required to leave their accommodations is 13 July, 2021.

Rent increases are prohibited for relevant tenancies up to and including 12 July, 2021, with no backdating allowed.
